Cargo to Hit Australian Cinemas & Have its Global Netflix Debut This Week

Causeway Films much talked about zombie-drama Cargo will have its Australian theatrical release this Thursday and a global Netflix bow on Friday. Cameron’s clients, Cinematographer Geoffery Simpson and Editor Dany Cooper, helped bring this stunning feature film to life. Reactions have been overwhelmingly positive since it debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival last month. No ordinary zombie film by any measure, publications such as The Guardian and Variety have hailed the film for its compelling performances and its fresh take on a well-trodden genre.

The film tells the story of a Father who has 48 hours to save his daughter in a zombie-ravaged Australia. Starring Martin Freeman and Susie Porter, you can catch the film at local cinemas from Thursday and our international readers will be able to find it on Netflix from Friday. Check out the trailer for the film below.

Cargo is in cinemas Thursday, May 17th.
