BAM! Composer/Sound Designer Steve Toulmin does super work in 'Blackie Blackie Brown'

Congratulations to Cameron's client Steve Toulmin for his epic composition and sound design on Sydney Theatre Company's new play Blackie Blackie Brown. After its opening last week the play is already a hit with critics with great reviews across the board.

Written by Nakkiah Lui Blackie Blackie Brown is a wild, twisted, hilarious origin story. Somewhere in the Australian bush, mild-mannered archaeologist Dr Jacqueline Black uncovers a mass grave. She picks up a skull and is over-powered by the spirit of her great-great-grandmother… BAM! Blackie Blackie Brown has arrived and she is a cold-blooded vigilante.

Her mission: kill all the descendants of the men who massacred her ancestors. White people, watch out. This isn’t about forgiveness. And it’s not about reconciliation.

"One of the funniest comedies written for the Australian stage in years...Declan Greene is the perfect director for this material... Everything is tightly wound and every reference is on point. He also keeps the tricky technical elements in check – including superb and integral animations by Oh Yeah Wow, and a superhero-worthy soundtrack by Steve Toulmin."            - Time Out
