Nominations Announced For The 55th AWGIE Awards

The nominations for the 55th Annual Australian Writers Guild Awards have been announced. We are pleased to congratulate our clients whose work has been recognized.

For Film, Del Kathryn Barton and Huna Amweero have been nominated for Blaze in Best Feature Film - Original, while Ben Lawrence is nominated for Best Documentary - Public Broadcast or Exhibition for his documentary Ithaka.

In Television, Pip Karmel is nominated for Season 2 of Total Control in Best Television Series alongside Jess Tuckwell for Season 2 of Bump.

In the Stage – Adapted category, Kate Mulvany is nominated for Playing Beatie Bow.

For Audio – Fiction, Tommy Murphy has received a nomination for radio play Call You Back as part of the Untrue Romance series.

Winners will be announced at the 55th Annual AWGIE Awards held on Thursday 17th November 2022.
