Editor Dan Lee Joins the Agency!
Cameron’s is thrilled to welcome editor Dan Lee to the agency.
Dan Lee is a screen editor with over a decade of experience working across feature film, television drama, documentary and short form. His most recent work includes the feature film Inside (Simpatico, dir. Charles Williams), which premiered at the 2024 Melbourne International Film Festival and was nominated for the Bright Horizons Award. The film marked a continued collaboration with Williams, following their Palme d’Or-winning short film All These Creatures (Simpatico) in 2019.
In television, Dan cut episodes of Wolf Like Me (Peacock/Stan, dir. Abe Forsythe), the genre-bending comedy-drama produced by Made Up Stories, the acclaimed FX series Mr. Inbetween (Blue Tongue Films/Jungle, dir. Nash Edgerton) and the limited horror-comedy series Watch With Mother (Revolver, dir. The Glue Society).
Dan’s documentary credits include the mini-series Little Joe (dir. David Ratner), and Lost Rambos (dir. Chris Phillips), a short documentary produced by The Guardian and Pursekey Productions, which won Best Short Documentary at the Melbourne International Film Festival in 2019.
In short form, Dan has edited numerous acclaimed films including The Handyman (Truce Films, dir. Nicholas Clifford), which won Best Short Film at the Festival of Nations, Austria (2021); Maggie May (dir. Mia’Kate Russell), which won Best International Short Film at the 2019 Toronto After Dark Film Festival; The Crossing (dir. Mareika Walsh), winner of Best Animated Film at the Sydney Film Festival (2016); and I’m The One (dir. Paola Morabito), which was nominated in the Venice Horizons section at the Venice Film Festival in 2012. His earlier collaboration with Mareika Walsh, The Hunter, won Best Short Animation at the 2013 AACTA Awards.
Dan is currently working on Mia’Kate Russell’s debut feature Penny Lane is Dead.
